10. reCAPTCHA

We use Google reCAPTCHA v3 on authentication actions, including signing in, registering, requesting a password reset, and resending an email verification message. reCAPTCHA runs in the background without requiring a checkbox and generates a risk score to help us detect automated or abusive activity.

When reCAPTCHA runs, Google receives information about the interaction and the user's browser and device, and may use cookies such as _GRECAPTCHA for risk analysis. We use the resulting score and related verification details for security and abuse prevention.
